Itinerary
06:30 AM:
You will be picked up from your desired location or hotel in Delhi or nearby Delhi or from the New Delhi airport by a private car and driven to the Nizamuddin Railway Station, where you will board the Gatimaan Express train to Agra. The train departs at 08:10 AM.
09:50 AM:
You will reach Agra. You will enjoy a comfortable and soothing journey in just 100 minutes with breakfast included in your ticket.
10:00 AM:
Upon arrival in Agra, you will be greeted by your private driver and live tour guide at the Agra Cantt Railway Station. They will take you to the Taj Mahal , the iconic monument of love and one of the first wonders of the world. You will marvel at the stunning architecture and the intricate details of this white marble mausoleum, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Your guide will explain the history and the significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Taj Mahal remains closed on each Friday.
01:00 PM:
After the Taj Mahal, you will visit the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and a massive red sandstone fortress that was the seat of the Mughal Empire for centuries. You will see the impressive palaces, halls, mosques, and gardens inside the fort, and learn about the life and the legends of the Mughal rulers. You will also get a glimpse of the Taj Mahal from the fort, as it was the view that Shah Jahan had from his prison cell.
02:30 PM:
After exploring the Agra Fort, you will be whisked away to the 5-Star hotel, where you can indulge in a sumptuous feast. Despite dwelling in the shadow of its grander counterpart, the Taj Mahal, this exquisite marble mausoleum possesses a distinct allure.
04:30 PM:
You will be driven back to the Agra Cantt Railway Station, where you will board the Gatimaan Express train back to Delhi. The train departs at 05:50 PM and reaches Delhi at 07:30 PM.
07:30 PM:
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be picked up by a private car and dropped off at your hotel, the airport, or desired location in Delhi or nearby Delhi, where your tour ends.
